Grantham Cencarik, PC is a Massachusetts law firm located in the Lechmere area of Cambridge. Grantham Cencarik, PC was formed in August 2008 by Attorney Dax B. Grantham and Attorney Stefan E. Cencarik. Combined, attorneys Dax Grantham and Stefan Cencarik have over fifteen years experience serving clients in the areas of Bankruptcy, business law, estate planning, probate and complex civil litigation.

Attorney Dax B. Grantham is the managing partner of the Cambridge law firm Grantham Cencarik, PC. Attorney Grantham has been licensed to practice law before all state and federal courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts since 2002.
With over nine years of experience, Attorney Grantham has successfully represented both plaintiffs and defendants before both the State and Federal Courts in Massachusetts. Attorney Grantham also has represented hundreds of debtors and creditors before the United States Bankruptcy Court and has represented both buyer and sellers in Commercial Real Estate transactions and disputes.
At Grantham Cencarik PC, Attorney Grantham concentrates his practice in the areas of business litigation, planning and formation, personal and business bankruptcy and commercial real estate.
Prior to founding Grantham Cencarik, PC, with attorney Stefan Cencarik, Attorney Grantham owned and operated the law firm of of Grantham & Associates, PC; specializing in the areas of Consumer Bankruptcy, Litigation and Real Estate.
Education
Attorney Grantham received bachelor’s degrees in both Economics and Management from the University of South Alabama where he graduated with honors. Attorney Grantham then attended New England Law Boston, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2001. While in law school, Attorney Grantham was an editor on the New England Law Review.

Stefan E. Cencarik is a founding partner of Grantham | Cencarik, P.C. who chiefly practices in the areas of Trust and Estate Litigation, Business Law, and Chapter 7, 11, and 13 Bankruptcy.
Attorney Cencarik has appeared successfully in various State courts across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the U.S. District Court, and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Attorney Cencarik is adept in assisting clients in achieving favorable resolutions for our clients through trials and arbitrations, extensive motion work, mediations and pre/post litigation settlement negotiations. Attorney Cencarik is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution, having assisted many clients in obtaining favorable resolutions to various disputes through mediation and direct settlement negotiations.
Attorney Cencarik specializes his litigation practice in the areas of trusts and estates. Attorney Cencarik has successfully represented trust and estate beneficiaries, trustees, executors, and other interested parties in a variety of disputes across the Commonwealth inside and outside of the courtroom. Attorney Cencarik is adept at representing clients who reside outside of Massachusetts concerning disputes that relate to a Massachusetts trust or estate.
Attorney Cencarik also focuses on the needs of Grantham Cencarik, P.C. business clients, and provides counsel on the formation of business entities, business operations, business expansion, establishing franchises, resolving partner/vendor disputes, managing debt, acquiring financing / intermediary with lenders, and resolving/preventing liabilities.
Attorney Cencarik has personally represented Debtors in over 250 bankruptcy cases and has served as co-counsel on at least another 100 bankruptcy cases. Attorney Cencarik is experienced in Chapters 7, 11 & 13, and is able to navigate the intricacies of each chapter, as well as efficiently resolve any issues that may arise in the course of a case.
Education:
Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, summa cum laude, from Boston University. During law school, he served as a Comment and Note Editor for The New England Law Review and received numerous distinctions for academic excellence. While attending BU, he partook in the school's London Internship Program where he clerked at Dawson Cornwell and Company, a family and real estate law firm based in London, United Kingdom. Prior to co-founding Grantham Cencarik, P.C., Attorney Cencarik was an associate attorney with a Boston-area law firm.

Attorney Cencarik is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, and is an active alumnus at New England School of Law and Boston University.
